Το Mercurius Bar Gallery φιλοξενεί από την Τετάρτη 20 Αυγούστου και για μία εβδομάδα την έκθεση φωτογραφίας της Steph Bolt.

H Steph Bolt είναι εικαστικός από την Αυστραλία που ζει και εργάζεται κοντά στην Μελβούρνη. Είναι κάτοχος μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου της σχολής Καλών Τεχνών του Πανεπιστημίου RMIT της Μελβούρνης.

Από σήμερα Τετάρτη 17 Ιουλίου μέχρι και την Τρίτη 23 Ιουλίου μπορείτε να επισκεφθείτε στο Mercurius Bar Gallery, στην παραλία Σκοπέλου, την ενδιαφέρουσα έκθεση της Steph Bolt με τίτλο "SKOPELOS Here and There".

Τα εγκαίνια την Τετάρτη στις 21:00.

Ώρες λειτουργίας:

11.00 - 13.00 και 21.00 - 23.00.

artist statement

Steph Bolt is an Australian artist based near Melbourne. She has a Master of Fine Art from RMIT University, Melbourne.

Photography, travel and colour are my obsessions and are essential elements of my art practice. I photo-document daily life to produce work that incorporates both print and sculptural media. I am interested in the common person in their local environment with a focus on people’s everyday experiences.

This series of prints and wood blocks have been created from photos taken on the beautiful island of Skopelos. Through the use of photography, contemporary and traditional printmaking methods, paper, paint, ink, wood, adhesives and various other materials I produce bodies of work that investigate universal human gesture. By researching scale, space and colour I aim to heighten the viewers engagement with the work.
